Chris Pipitone (Owner) is a MIRACLE WORKER. My lawn has looked horrible for the last 6 years. Several companies mixed with a couple DIY seasons could not fix the problem. Chris visited my house TWICE to gather the soil samples and to perform the necessary onsite inspections to provide an accurate diagnosis. He's the only one that took the time to do this out of all of the companies I've used since I started to have the issues. Chris got my lawn looking the best it has looked since we laid down the sod 9 years ago. I've received numerous compliments on my lawn this season from my wife, friends, and neighbors. Chris' customer service is superb and you can tell he has 30 years of experience and wisdom. Hire the Lawn Doctor for all of your lawn needs. ~ Mauro D

Just wrapped up my first season with Lawn Doctor. Great Company to work with. My lawn was in pretty rough shape after going without some sort of professional service for almost 3 years. While I did some stuff personally, it never achieved much improvement. Chris and Dominic really improved the appearance and condition in just one year. I have even had some comments and inquires made from my neighbors. I plan to use them again next year as well. I appreciate the notes and info on each application summary and the occasional informational emails they send out. They definitely make you feel appreciated as a customer as opposed to the larger more commercialized companies. Its nice having the same one or two guys treat your property each time. Definitely give these guys a shot if you need service. ~ Chris M

I have used many lawn services for weed control fertilization of the grass. They wouldn’t show up. They didn’t do their job and said they did. I had neighbors watch them and they told me that all they did was drive up put a bill on my door and left it with the lawn doctor. They’re efficient. My grass looks beautiful. My trees are healthy because they spray the trees. They’re honest, hard-working company you don’t want lazy people working for you you want honest, hard-working people and that’s what this company is so if you’re interested in a good company, I suggest you should call the owner. He will talk to you personally and if you have a lawn problem, he will come out and talk to you for as long as you want. He takes his time and he tells you what’s going on if he doesn’t know he’ll find an answer not like the other companies that just come get your money and go this guy really cares. ~ Alex G

I have been using the services of the Lawn Doctor (Utica/Macomb) fr about the last 5 years. Chris has literally brought my crabapple tree back to life. Years ago by June almost all the leaves were gone from the tree. Today and over the years it has flourished and is ripe with an abundance of apples and leaves that last for the entire Fall season. The Lawn Doctor's deep root treatments have done wonders for this tree. I would highly recommend this company for their professionalism, quality of products, and responsiveness to my calls. They also provide a great mosquito bomb service that keep my backyard gatherings mosquito free. ~ Paul V

My lawn looks better than it ever did. We have a certified wildlife habitat in a suburban neighborhood, with hundreds of ducks and birds and various other creatures hanging out by the creek all year. They are not always the neatest eaters, so their corn and bird seed ends up in places we might not want them to be. Thanks to Lawn Doctor, we don't have stray corn or other crops growing in the grass. And whenever we do have a problem, we just call Chris and he takes care of it right away. They do their best to accommodate our needs while still respecting our environment and habitat for wildlife. ~ Ginger M

I needed my lawn rolled and they don't provide that service but gave me done info. Another company tried to scam me into buying an expensive service that wouldn't help my uneven lawn. Luckily with the info Chris gave me, it didn't match up. I called Chris back to ask him about what they said and he took the time (even after hours) to call me back and help me out. Then he got me in touch with another service that could help. He saved me a lot of money. Pretty nice for a customer that didn't even hire him! If I ever need lawn care, I'm going too call the lawn dr!!!! I recommend you do to!!! ~ Erin W

From the very first appointment I was impressed with the Lawn Doctor. Chris came out, took soil samples, and within a few weeks he came back with a plan to bring my lawn back to life. My neighbors and I saw a remarkable improvement in my lawn just a week after the first application. Since starting with the Lawn Doctor, my neighbors on both side of me quit their lawn service and have switched to the Lawn Doctor. I used to fertilize my own myself. That said Lawn Doctor has out performed anything thing that I have ever done. I am a lawn guy and very fussy. Chris has always responded promptly when I have had questions. My neighbors always comment on how nice my house looks and perfect the lawn looks, other neighbors have actually hired Lawn Doctor based on the results that I have had with the service. There are other homes in my sub that have a lawn service, and they do not even come close to the green carpet that I have. ~ Eric P

I purchased my home 3 years ago and have used 3 other companies prior to finding Lawn Doctor. This the first spring after hiring Lawn Doctor to service my lawn. I am actually amazed at how healthy, green and thick my lawn appears. In the years prior my lawn was thin with many weeds and didn’t even green up until mid June! The service is professional, contact during covid was excellent with email updates from the owner assuring us that our lawns would be serviced on the proper timetable. Chris and his team are phenomenal. Great price and excellent service. My yard looks amazingly healthy. Chris even checked in after treatments to make sure weed control and insect control are effective. He takes a real pride in his work. He even contacts his customers via email to help remind about weather and watering cycles and when applications should really be started. This company has been doing my Mom's fertilizing in Warren for many years and now service the whole block. They are intelligent, respectful, and kind. They send emails to tell you when and why they are doing what they are doing. They have the personal/professional balance figured out just perfectly! What a refreshing company to do business with. I never had to call them and they were proactive in looking for weeds in the lawn after applying chemicals. My "old company" wanted me to call them to tell them on whether they killed the weeds or not... not sure who was working for who... I signed up for lawn service for the first time this year. I needed a lot of help - I had tons of weeds and bare spots.. it was embarrassing. I figured that towards the end of summer I would notice an improvement in my lawn. I was wrong - I noticed a BIG improvement after the first treatment - so much so that other people have commented on the difference. The people have been very friendly and professional. I've used the Lawn Doctor for more than 10 years. I switched to them from a national chain, because the national chain was not dealing with my lawn and shrub issues that were unique to s.e. Michigan. In 2015 we had several problems with our lawn including bare spots, yellowing and insect infestation. Called Lawn Doctor in and they addressed the problem with their fertilization, grub and weed control. By 2016 the yard looked quite different. Bare spots filled in and color was back to normal. Lawn Doctor did a very good job getting the lawn looking presentable once again. ~ Robert D

Lawn Doctor has a professional attitude towards all they do for you. I have them to be kind, listen to you, fix any problems you may have, and do what they say they will do for you.
